Meet Mike, Intended Dad
I am someone that will take on any challenge and always wants to try new things. I wasn’t born this way but life finds a way for you to see you through what you really want to do.

I’m generally a quiet person until you get to know me, then I’ll gladly open up and be full of energy around you. I grew up in Windsor and have moved across north america living in various cities from coast to coast. I’ve landed in Guelph with my lovely wife Stephanie and we’re trying to expand our family. Everywhere I’ve gone I’ve manged to learn something new about myself and carry that forward. Living in California I started playing hockey again after taking a long hiatus during secondary schooling. After moving to Vancouver to be with my girlfriend (now wife) I picked up skiing and elevated my cycling skills riding up large hills. All of these experiences are things I want to share with a future son or daughter. I’ll be the one getting up at 5 in the morning to take our child to hockey practice and teaching them it’s okay to fall down so long as you get back up again.
In the Winter you’ll find me skiing or snowboarding at any available hill with snow. I’m usually watching the forecast and hoping for snow by late November. I try to cycle in the summer when it’s too warm for winter sports. While I would be thrilled if my future child would like to pick up the same sports as me, I want them to find their own path and I will support them in whatever endeavor they choose.

Outside of athletics I’m a software engineer that makes video games for a living. This means that I’m on top of all the latest trends in the video game world and still play them myself when I get free time. I firmly believe video games are a great learning tool for children within moderation.
I’m always looking for new adventure. Please reach out and comment if you want to be a part of that adventure.
